Some of the best places to see wildlife is your local park! As we begin entering our famously hot summer in Columbia, the wildlife are still finding ways to stay cool. White-tailed Deer with their fawns peruse around Columbia's Riverfront Park. The deer have become highly acclimated to the presence of people in this green space. As the sun sets and the temps cool down, the deer come out to feed on the various plant life along the river. We'll also have opportunities to see other wildlfe like Great Blue Herons, Muskrats, and we'll visit a local Beaver Lodge in the Columbia Canal!
