The Safari
Wilderness is right down the road in Cayce, SC at Congaree Creek Heritage Preserve. This wetland sits in the Congaree watershed and is a host to all kinds of wildlife including almost 200 species of birds. We'll be walking the Timmerman Trail, a paved 3.5 mile long walking path, looking for early Spring migrant birds and as well as year round residents.​

Dress for the weather and a walk through the woods. BYOB – Bring Your Own Binoculars.

Itinerary
We will meet in the dirt lot across from the Cayce Tennis Center at 8:30am. Once we're all together we'll head down the trail. There are a couple different sections of trail that are paved and unpaved we'll be looking for birds in.

Guests who arrive late will be left behind and unable to receive a refund.

Please note: Guests must be able to walk 1.5 miles on paved and unpaved trails
Cancellation Policy
We require 3 DAYS NOTICE to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. If you cancel within the 5 day period, you will not be refunded.
