I bet you didn't think you can see amazing bird life in the middle of a city. The USC Horseshoe boasts over 130 species of birds on its campus. We'll be walking the Horseshoe, a common use outdoor area on USC's campus, as well as doing a lap around the SC State House looking for Spring migrant birds and as well as year round residents.​

Dress for the weather and a walk through the woods. BYOB – Bring Your Own Binoculars.

Itinerary
We will meet at the steps of the USC Visitors Center at 8:30am. Once we're all together we'll head down the paths looking for birds. Once we've birded the Horseshoe, we'll do a lap around the State House just a block away.

Guests who arrive late will be left behind and unable to receive a refund.

Please note: Guests must be able to walk 1.5 miles on paved and unpaved trails
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations will only be refunded if the cancelling party’s spots are filled by new reservations. We do offer lifetime credits that can be applied to other Carolina Safaris until your balance is fulfilled. Lifetime credits apply only to customers who give 72-hour notice and don’t get their spots filled. It is up to the cancelling party to fulfill their credits. Should a safari be cancelled due to weather, hazardous conditions, or extenuating circumstances to the company all reservations will be refunded.
