The Safari

Come and explore the top birdwatching destination in Lexington County at Saluda Shoals Park! This public park sits just south of the Lake Murray Dam and is a host to all kinds of wildlife including almost 200 species of birds. We'll be walking the trails surrounding the environmental center, a mix of paved and unpaved trails, to the river and back looking for Spring migrant birds and as well as year round residents.​

Itinerary

We will meet in the parking lot of the Environmental Center at 8:30am. Once we're all together we'll head down the trail. There are a couple different sections of trail that are paved and unpaved we'll be looking for birds in.

Guests who arrive late will be left behind and unable to receive a refund.

​

Please note: Guests must be able to walk 1.5 miles on paved and unpaved trails

Cancellation Policy

We require 3 DAYS NOTICE to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund. If you cancel within the 3 day period, you will not be refunded.
