The Safari
The Midlands are Famously Hot for a reason and we sure are feeling it. Thankfully the cool waters of Fourteen Mile Creek in Lexington create just enough of a micro-climate where it stays cooler than most places around town and the birds know it. For a tiny little park, it boasts 142 different species of birds that make use of its emerald corridor woven into the suburban landscape.
